Business Highlight 2023
- Exploration at SK315 successfully drilled Kalung Emas-1 exploration well on 26th Apr 2023 and was subsequently declared as a discovery.
- Cost Optimization: 5 infill wells drilled at PM335 Larut. First oil achieved on 10 June 2023 and successfully unloaded 5 wells.
- STEAR -Piloting for one year a logistic solution that provides a line of sight of a near real-time vessel supply and demand to allow scheduling and space optimization and dynamic pricing, enabled via a digital platform.
- Introduction and application of new technologies:
- Three (3) 1st in Malaysia (at FPSO Berantai, Irong Cluster)
- VOLANT/ Virtual Fibre Optic (VFO) – pilot test in September 2023 the system deployed will extend the existing 300MPS fiber optics lease line which is available at Angsi Platform to transmit the network services to Berantai, TNAG, Jitang and Tembikai Platform;
- Methanol Fuel Cell – September 2023 conducted a conversion of chemical energy into electrical energy without interim stages and without much loss of efficiency. In addition to power this creates waste heat and water vapour with little carbon dioxide. Currently being used to power the VFO network as a single working system
- Combination of Virtual Fibre Optic technology with Methanol Fuel cell as 1 working system.
- Diver-less UWILD at FPSO MAMPU-1, SK315 successful implementation for Performed using a mini ROV. Represents a significant cost savings as Diver-less UWILD cost lesser compared to traditional UWILD
- Diverless Cofferdam installation at FPSO Berantai with 100% leak free
- Three (3) 1st in Malaysia (at FPSO Berantai, Irong Cluster)
