Age 54 years old. Keith has considerable industry experience in management, drilling, completion and field development activities. As a graduate in Chemcial Engineering at Manchester University started his career in 1983 working for Conoco as a Drilling Engineer based in the UK. In 1990 he joined Texaco in a role as team leader for various drilling campaigns and then moved to Hess to lead the subsea completion effort on a major field development. From an essentially technical background he has since developed his leadership and business skills over the past 20 years by setting up and running a sub-surface consultancy business in the UK in 1993, that ultimately consisted of over a 100 people and then in 2005 headed to Malaysia to lead Petrofac’s business there. As Country Manager for Petrofac Malaysia he was responsible for all aspects of Petrofac’s investment business as well as being the in-country focal point for all Petrofac services businesses. He played a pivotal role is developing new business within Malaysia that allowed the company to grow and develop considerably up to 2013 as evidenced by the number of employees increasing from 15 in 2005 to over 1,700. Since October 2013 he has been the CEO of Vestigo Petroleum and currently he also sits on the Board of Directors of Vestigo Petroleum.
Nora Safinaz Abdul Raman
Head, Finance & Corporate Services
Nora Safinaz Abdul Raman, age 39 holds a BA Hons in Accounting & Finance from Lancaster University in United Kingdom. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2007 and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA). She started her career in PETRONAS Carigali in March 2000 as Budget and Management Reporting Executive, JV Accounting, Oil and Gas Accounting and then in 2007 moved to PETRONAS Carigali Vietnam Operations as the Finance Manager. In 2009, she joined Lundin Malaysia BV where she was exposed to Human Resources and Commercial responsibilities in addition to accounting area. She has acquired more than 15 years of experience in accounting, finance & commercial related assignments. She is currently responsible for the management of all financial & fiscal aspects of the Company, HR & Admin and ICT.
Zetti Asmidar Bt Mohammed
Head, Commercial & Strategy
Prior to her role as GM Commercial & Strategy of VESTIGO Petroleum Sdn Bhd , she was from Upstream Commercial department and spent quite a number of years in Petroleum Economics department.
She has depth knowledge in Petroleum Economics from her 10 years’ experience in Petroleum Economics department from 2001 to 2011. She then had taken a role as Commercial Negotiator for Upstream Business.
She has been involved in numerous negotiation with host authorities from Sudan, South Sudan, Cameroon as well as negotiation with upstream contractors such as CNPC, Noble Energy, ONGC, TriOcean amongst others. In these projects she has had a vast experience dealing with concession contracts, profit sharing contracts, service contracts and strategic alliance contracts to name a few. She had been instrumental in developing the current module for Commercial Core Programme into its current form. She was also currently part of the resource person for the module and its implementation. She is now part of VESTIGO Leadership Team to drive the company overall strategy and commercial arrangements on existing contracts as well as future opportunities in Malaysia.
Head, Project Delivery & Operations
Azmi Ismail, age 54 years old is General Manager, Project Delivery & Production Operations since January 2014 and brings to the fore more than 27 years’ experience. Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana and a Master of Science in Geophysics, University of Nevada – Reno, Nevada with vast professional experience in geophysics, particularly in the field of seismic data processing and project management, mostly related to oil and gas projects. He started his career in the oil and gas industry as Wellsite Operations Engineer in Sarawak Shell Berhad in September 1986. He was later promoted to Operations Engineer, where he supervised rig operations as well as designed well programmes. In 1990, he moved to CGGAP Sdn Bhd as Deputy Center Manager and was promoted to the position of Managing Director, CGGAP Sdn Bhd. He was with Kencana Petroleum since 2004 and subsequently SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad until 2013, holding management positions.
Head, Supply Chain Management
Age 50 years old, Malaysian. Mr. Zameri Embong commenced his career in 1989 as a Sub Surface/ Reservoir Engineer and in his more than 23 years of experience. Mr. Zameri has worked for Petronas, Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, Petrofac, Sarawak Shell Berhad and GOM Resources Sdn Bhd in various capacities including Project Manager (Petronas Group Tenders & Contracts), General Manager (PCSB-SCM), Head PCSB Well Operations (PCSB), Head Business Development (Petrofac E&C), Senior Manager Contracting & Procurement (Sarawak Shell Berhad) and Vice President Tender & Contract Division (GOM Resources Sdn Bhd). Mr. Zameri received his B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering from the University Technology of Malaysia in 1987 and has such rich Oil & Gas industry experience in strategy, contract and procurement. In April 2014, he has joined Vestigo Petroleum as GM, Supply Chain Management.
Muammar Gadafi B Othman
Head of Development
Ir Muammar Gadafi bin Othman, PMP, graduated with Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Universiti Tenologi Petronas, Malaysia, and Master of Science in Project Management from Boston University, USA.
With a span of 19 years in PETRONAS, his career began as Operation & Maintenance Engineer with PETRONAS NGV Sdn Bhd and later joined Group Technology Solutions in 2007. In 2009, he moved to PETRONAS Carigali Turkmenistan Sdn Bhd as the Head of Facilities where he was part of the project team that successfully completed the EPCIC of Onshore Gas Treatment Plant in Kiyanli, Turkmenistan. In 2013, he was promoted as Project Manager for PM9 projects after completing Malaysia’s first offshore platform major restoration project.
He was then appointed as Upstream Business Development Head for Middle East and Central Asia in 2016 prior resuming his current role in Vestigo Petroleum starting from Oct 2017. Within 2 years, he led his development team to secure approval of 6 final investment decisions and delivered 4 projects safely.
